Welcome to my new and very much improved website. This redesign has been a long time in the making and I’m so grateful to my friend and college classmate Maggie Biunno Fernandez for bringing it to life.

The main purpose of redesigning my site was to present a curated selection of my clips in a more readable manner for fellow writers and editors alike to browse through. While I do still get plenty of cold emails from prospective clients, I always cringe at the fact that they had to wade through my old website to find my email address.

In addition to highlighting some of my work, I also want my website to serve as a resource for current and aspiring freelancers, hence the blog. I’ve been a full-time freelancer since 2017 and I say all the time that I wish I’d planned to go freelance sooner, had I known it was a possibility and could be a sustainable career. I’m so thankful for the mentors I’ve had along the way, who’ve done everything from helping me to craft my first pitches, sharing editor contacts, and even talking rates and how to negotiate. I’m eager to pay it forward and share what has and hasn’t worked for me over the past few years.
