I’m a Houston-based freelance writer and editor covering health, wellness, personal finance, social justice, and more. I received my degree in journalism with dual minors in Spanish and women’s studies in 2009 from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York. I am a former copy editor and staff writer of the Houston Chronicle.
